ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗದ ಮಾರಿಕಾಂಬೆ ಜಾತ್ರೆಯು ಮಾರ್ಚ್ 22 ರಿಂದ 26 ರವರೆಗೆ ಅದ್ಧೂರಿಯಿಂದ ನಡೆಯಲಿದೆ. ಶಿರಸಿ,ಸಾಗರ ನಂತರ ಈ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಡಗರ ತುಂಬುವ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಪ್ರಾಚೀನ ಆಚರಣೆಯೂ ಇದಾಗಿದೆ. ಕೋವಿಡ್ ಕಾರಣ ಈ ಬಾರಿ ಜಾತ್ರೆ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತೋ ಇಲ್ಲವೋ ಎಂಬ ಸಂದೇಹ ಭಕ್ತರಲ್ಲಿ ಉಂಟಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಅಡೆತಡೆಗಳೆಲ್ಲವೂ ಪರಿಹಾರವಾಗಿ ಈಗ ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ಮಾರಿಕಾಂಬ ಜಾತ್ರೆಗೆ ಸಜ್ಜಾಗಿದೆ.
ಕೋವಿಡ್ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಡಳಿತದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಂಪರ್ಕಿಸಿ ಜಾತ್ರೆಗೆ ಪೂರ್ವಾನ್ವಯ ಅನುಮತಿ ಬೇಡಿದೆವು. ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಸಂತೋಷದಿಂದ ಒಪ್ಪಿಗೆ ನೀಡಿದರು” ಎಂದು ಜಾತ್ರಾ ಸಮಿತಿಯ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಶ್ರೀ ಮರಿಯಪ್ಪನವರು ಪತ್ರಿಕಾಗೋಷ್ಠಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ಜಾತ್ರಾ ಸಮಿತಿಯ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಮಂಜುನಾಥ್ ಅವರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ಈ ಬಾರಿ ಪ್ರಸಾದದ ಕೌಂಟರುಗಳನ್ನ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ದೂರದಲ್ಲೇ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸುವ ಯೋಜನೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇವೆ.ಗಾಂಧಿ ಬಜಾರ್ ನಲ್ಲೂ ಜನ ನೂಕು ನುಗ್ಗಲಾಗದಂತೆ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಕರ್ತವ್ಯ ನಿರತ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಜಾತ್ರಾ ಪೆಂಡಾಲ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದೆಡೆ ದೊರಕುವಂತೆ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು. ಒಟ್ಟಾರೆ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರು ಮುಖ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮದವರೂ ಜಾತ್ರೆ ಸುಲಲಿತ ವಾಗಿ ನಡೆಸುವಂತೆ ಸಹಕರಿಸಲು ಕೋರಿದರು.
ಕಳೆದ ಜಾತ್ರಾ ಮಹೋತ್ಸವದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರಿಗೆ ಉಂಟಾದ ಅನಾನುಕೂಲಗಳನ್ನ ಈ ಬಾರಿ ಸರಿಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದೇವೆ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಇದೇ 22ರಂದು ಮಂಗಳವಾರ ಜಾತ್ರೆ ಆರಂಭವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಬೆಳಗಿನ ಜಾವ 10 ಗಂಟೆಗೆ ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣ ನಾಡಿಗ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಮನೆಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ವೀಳ್ಯ ಕೊಟ್ಟು ವಾದ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕರೆತಂದು ಪೂಜಿಸುವ ಪದ್ಧತಿ ಇದೆ. ಬರುವಾಗ ಕುಂಬಾರ ಜನಾಂಗದವರಿಂದ ಬಾಸಿಂಗದ ಜೊತೆ ಅವರನ್ನೂ ಕರೆತರುತ್ತಾರೆ.
ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣ ಸುಹಾಸಿನಿಯರು ದೇವಿಗೆ ಉಡಿ ತುಂಬಿ ಪೂಜಿಸಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ವಿದ್ಯುಕ್ತವಾಗಿ ಜಾತ್ರೆ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾದಂತೆ, ನಂತರ ವಿಶ್ವಕರ್ಮ ಜನಾಂಗದವರಿಂದ ದಿನವಿಡೀ ಪೂಜೆ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತದೆ. ದೇವಿಯ ದರ್ಶನಕ್ಕೆ ಭಕ್ತರಿಗೆ ಅನುವು ಮಾಡಿ ಕೊಡಲಾಗುವುದು. ರಾತ್ರಿ ಒಂಬತ್ತರ ಸುಮಾರಿಗೆ ಉಪ್ಪಾರ ಕುಲದವರು ದೇವಿಯನ್ನು ಗದ್ದುಗೆಗೆ ಕರೆತರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಈ ಮಧ್ಯೆ ದೇವಿಯನ್ನು ಗಂಗಮತಸ್ಥ ಸಮಾಜದವರು ಗಟೇವುನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಗಾಂಧಿ ಬಜಾರ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವಿಗೆ ಎದುರುಗೊಂಡು ಪೂಜೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
ತದ ನಂತರ ಗದ್ದುಗೆ ಬಳಿ ದೇವಿ ಬಂದಾಗ ವಿದ್ಯಾನಗರದ ಕರ್ಲಹಟ್ಟಿಯ ಹರಿಜನ ಬಾಂಧವರು ಪೂಜೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಗದ್ದುಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವಿ ಕೂರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಂತೆ ಕುರುಬ ಸಮಾಜದ ಚೌಡಿಕೆ ಮನೆತನದವರು ದೇವಿಗೆ ಪೂಜೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿ ನೈವೇದ್ಯ ಅರ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಬುಧವಾರ ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ 6:30ರಿಂದ ವಾಲ್ಮೀಕಿ ಜನಾಂಗದವರು ನಂತರ ಉಪ್ಪಾರರು ತದನಂತರ ಮಡಿವಾಳರು ರಾತ್ರಿವರೆಗೂ 4 ದಿನಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಗದ್ದುಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಮ್ಮನವರಿಗೆ ಪೂಜೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಶನಿವಾರ ರಾತ್ರಿ 8ಗಂಟೆಗೆ ಅಮ್ಮನವರ ರಾಜಬೀದಿ ಉತ್ಸವ ಗಾಂಧಿಬಜಾರ್ ಬಿ.ಹೆಚ್.ರಸ್ತೆ, ಟ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ಬಾಂಡ್ ರಸ್ತೆಯಿಂದ ಹೊನ್ನಾಳಿ ರಸ್ತೆಯ ಸೇತುವೆ ಮೂಲಕ ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂರ್ತಿ ವಿಸರ್ಜಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಜಾತ್ರೆಯ ಸಂಪನ್ನಗೊಳ್ಳುವುದು.

ಇತ್ತಿಚೆಗೆ ನಡೆದ ಪಂಜಾಬಿನ ವಿಧಾನ ಸಭಾ ಚುನಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಚಮತ್ಕಾರವನ್ನೇ ಮಾಡಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿತು. ಹಾಲಿ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳು ಮೂವತ್ತೇಳು ಸಾವಿರ ಮತಗಳ ಅಂತರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೋಲಪ್ಪುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದೆ. ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಓರ್ವ ಅಂಗಡಿಯವ ಅದರಲ್ಲೂ ಒಂದು ಮೊಬೈಲ್ ಷಾಪಿನ ಓನರ್ರು ಗೆದ್ದು ಎಮ್ಮಲ್ಯೆ ಆಗಿ ಬಿಗುವಂತಾಗಿದೆ. ಅಂದ್ರೆ ಆಪ್ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥ ಕೇಜ್ರಿವಾಲ್ ಹೇಳುವಂತೆ ಒಬ್ಬ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲೂ ಗೆಲ್ಲುವ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯ ಇದೆ. ಈ ಸಂಗತಿಯನ್ನು ಪಂಜಾಬಿನ ಚುನಾವಣೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದೆ. ಆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯ ಹೆಸರು ಲಾಭ್ ಸಿಂಗ್ ಉಗೋಕೆ.ಈತ ಹಳ್ಳಿಯೊಂದರಲ್ಲಿ ಮೊಬೈಲ್ ಷಾಪ್ ನಡೆಸ್ತಾರೆ.
