ಜಾನ್ಸ್ ಹಾಪ್ಕಿನ್ಸ್ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಲಯದ ಅಂಕಿಅಂಶಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ಯುನೈಟೆಡ್ ಸ್ಟೇಟ್ಸ್ ಸೋಮವಾರ 1 ದಶಲಕ್ಷಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಕೋವಿಡ್ -19 ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳನ್ನು ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದೆ. ಓಮಿಕ್ರಾನ್ ಬಿರುಸಿನ ವೇಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಹರಡುತ್ತಿದೆ. ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ 10,80,211 ಹೊಸ ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳು ದಾಖಲಾಗಿವೆ. ಹಿಂದಿನ ವಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಲಿಸಿದರೆ ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ ದ್ವಿಗುಣಗೊಂಡಿದೆ. ಉನ್ನತ ಯುಎಸ್ ಪೆಂಟಿಯಮ್ ಸಲಹೆಗಾರ ಆಂಥೋನಿ ಫೌಸಿ ಅವರು, ದೇಶವು ಕೋವಿಡ್ -19 ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹುತೇಕ ತೊಂದರೆಯನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಅಂಕಿಅಂಶಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ಯುಎಸ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾವಿನ ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಮತ್ತು ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗೆ ದಾಖಲಾದ ದರಗಳು ಹಿಂದಿನ ಕೋವಿಡ್ ಉಲ್ಬಣಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ಇತ್ತೀಚಿನ ವಾರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಡಿಮೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಕಳೆದ ಏಳು ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ 9,382 ಸಾವುಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ, ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಗಳ ಸಾವಿನ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ ವಾರಕ್ಕೆ 10% ರಷ್ಟು ಕುಸಿದಿದೆ.
ಜಾನ್ಸ್ ಹಾಪ್ಕಿನ್ಸ್ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಲಯದ ಅಂಕಿಅಂಶಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ಕಳೆದ 7 ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ದೇಶವು ಜನವರಿ 3 ರಂದು ಗರಿಷ್ಠ ಮಟ್ಟದೊಂದಿಗೆ ದಿನಕ್ಕೆ ಸರಾಸರಿ 4,86,000 ರಂತೆ 3.4 ಮಿಲಿಯನ್ ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳನ್ನು ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದೆ. ಜನವರಿ 5 ರಿಂದ 11ರವರೆಗೆ ,2021 ರ ವಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಂದಿನ ಅಲೆಗಳ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ US ದಾಖಲೆಯು ದಿನಕ್ಕೆ 2,58,000 ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳು. ಆರ್ಥಿಕತೆಗೆ ಗಂಭೀರ ಹಾನಿಯಾಗದಂತೆ ಅಥವಾ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ವಿಮಾನ ಪ್ರಯಾಣದಂತಹ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಸೇವೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ಲ್ಯಾಮ್ ಮಾಡದೆಯೇ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಆರೋಗ್ಯವನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವ ಸಮತೋಲನವನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಹಿಡಿಯಲು ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಹೆಣಗಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕಳೆದ ವಾರ, ರೋಗ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣ ಮತ್ತು ತಡೆಗಟ್ಟುವಿಕೆಗಾಗಿ ಯುಎಸ್ ಕೇಂದ್ರಗಳು ರೋಗಲಕ್ಷಣಗಳಿಲ್ಲದ ಕೋವಿಡ್ ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕತೆಯ ಅವಧಿಯನ್ನು 5 ದಿನಗಳವರೆಗೆ ಅರ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಇಳಿಸಿದವು. ದೇಶವು ಯುಎಸ್ ನ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸೋಂಕುಗಳು ಹೊಸ ಗರಿಷ್ಠ ಮಟ್ಟವನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟಿದ ಕಾರಣ ಓಮಿಕ್ರಾನ್ ನಿಂದಾದ ಅಡಚಣೆಯನ್ನು ಮೊಂಡಾಗಿಸುವ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನದಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ಯುಎಸ್ ನ ಆಹಾರ ಮತ್ತು ಔಷಧ ಆಡಳಿತವು 12 ವರ್ಷ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಫಿಜರ್‌ನ ಕೋವಿಡ್-19 ಬೂಸ್ಟರ್ ಶಾಟ್ ಅನ್ನು ನೀಡಲು ನಿರ್ಧರಿಸಿದೆ. ಕೋವಿಡ್ -19 ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ 2019 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಏಕಾಏಕಿ ಹೊರಹೊಮ್ಮಿದಾಗಿನಿಂದ ಜಾಗತಿಕವಾಗಿ ಕನಿಷ್ಠ 54,41,446 ಜನರನ್ನು ಬಲಿ ಪಡೆದಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಅಧಿಕೃತ ಮೂಲಗಳಿಂದ ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸಲಾದ ಎಎಫ್‌ಪಿ ಲೆಕ್ಕಾಚಾರವು ತಿಳಿಸಿದೆ.
ಕೋವಿಡ್ -19 ಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ಹೆಚ್ಚುವರಿ ಮರಣವನ್ನು ಗಣನೆಗೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡರೆ ಒಟ್ಟಾರೆ ಸಾವಿನ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ ಎರಡರಿಂದ ಮೂರು ಪಟ್ಟು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿರಬಹುದು ಎಂದು ವಿಶ್ವ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ಅಂದಾಜಿಸಿದೆ.

ನಂದೀಶ್ ಗೆ ಅನುಕಂಪದ ಆಧಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ಮಂಜೂರು ಮಾಡುವಂತೆ ಕೋರಿ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಮಹಾನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರ ಕಚೇರಿಯಿಂದಲೇ 2020ರ ಜೂ.25ರಂದು ಪತ್ರ ಬರೆದಿದ್ದರೂ , ಸರಕಾರ ಈವರೆಗೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಅರ್ಜಿದಾರರ ಪರ ವಕೀಲರು ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.

ಭಾರತೀಯ ನೌಕಾಪಡೆ ವಕ್ತಾರ ಕಮಾಂಡರ್ ವಿವೇಕ್ ಮಾಧ್ವಲ್ ಅವರು “ನಗರ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಗಾ ಇಡುವ ಹಾಗೂ ಜಲಾಂತರ್ಗಾಮಿ ನೌಕೆಗಳ ನಿಗ್ರಹ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯದ ಎರಡು ಪೋಸಿಡಾನ್ 8ಐ ಯುದ್ಧ ವಿಮಾನಗಳು ಡಿ.30 ರಂದು ಭಾರತಕ್ಕೆ ಆಗಮಿಸಿವೆ. ಎರಡು ಯುದ್ಧವಿಮಾನಗಳು ಐಎನ್ಎಸ್ ಹಂಸದ ಮೂಲಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆ ಆರಂಭಿಸಿವೆ” ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಅಮೆರಿಕ ಜೊತೆಗಿನ ಒಪ್ಪಂದದಂತೆ 8 ಪಿ-8ಐ ಯುದ್ಧ ವಿಮಾನಗಳನ್ನು 2013ರಲ್ಲಿ ಅಮೆರಿಕ ಮೊದಲ ಹಂತದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀಡಿದೆ. ಎರಡನೇ ಭಾಗವಾಗಿ 2 ಯುದ್ಧ ವಿಮಾನಗಳನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದೆ.

ಭಾರತದ ಹಿಂದೂ ಮಹಾಸಾಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ಚೀನಾ ಆಗಿಂದಾಗ ಉದ್ಧಟತನವನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರಾಬಲ್ಯ ಸಾಧಿಸಲು ಯತ್ನಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಕಾರಣ ಭಾರತವು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಇಡುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಇದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಒಂದು ವರ್ಷದ ಹಿಂದೆಯೇ ಸಾಗರ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಗಾ ಇಡುವ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯದ ಎರಡು ಡ್ರೋನ್ ಗಳನ್ನು ಭಾರತ ಅಮೆರಿಕಾದಿಂದ ಗುತ್ತಿಗೆ ಪಡೆದಿದೆ.

ನಗರದ ಪ್ರವೇಶದ್ವಾರ ಸೀಲ್ ಡೌನ್ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಅಗತ್ಯ ಸರಕುಗಳಿಗೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಪ್ರವೇಶ ನೀಡಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಈ ಪರಿಣಾಮ ನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಹಾರ ಮತ್ತು ಔಷಧಗಳ ಕೊರತೆ ಎದುರಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ ಪರದಾಡುವಂತಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಮೂಲಗಳು ತಿಳಿಸಿವೆ. ಚೀನಾ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ವೈಫಲ್ಯದಿಂದಾಗಿ ಕ್ಸಿಯಾನ್ ನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಹಾರದ ಕೊರತೆ ಎದುರಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಜಾಲತಾಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರಿ ವಿರೋಧ ವ್ಯಕ್ತವಾಗಿದೆ.

2021ರಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತವು ದಾಖಲೆ ಪ್ರಮಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿನ್ನವನ್ನು ಆಮದು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದೆ. 1,050 ಟನ್ ನಷ್ಟು ದಾಖಲೆಯ ಚಿನ್ನವನ್ನು ಆಮದು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಕಳೆದೊಂದು ದಶಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದು ಗರಿಷ್ಠ ಆಮದಾಗಿದೆ.

ಆಮದು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಚಿನ್ನದ ಮೌಲ್ಯವು 4.17 ಲಕ್ಷ ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ.ಗಳಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಅಂಕಿ ಅಂಶಗಳು ತಿಳಿಸಿವೆ.

2020 ಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಲಿಸಿದರೆ ಕಳೆದ ವರ್ಷ ಬಂಗಾರದ ದರದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಳಿಕೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಹಾಗೂ ವೈವಾಹಿಕ ಋತುವಿನ ಅವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂಗಾರದ ಬೇಡಿಕೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿದ್ದರಿಂದ 1,050 ಟನ್ ಚಿನ್ನವನ್ನು ಆಮದು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಮೂಲಕ 2011ರ ಚಿನ್ನದ ಆಮದು ದಾಖಲೆಯನ್ನೂ ಕಳೆದ ವರ್ಷ ಹಿಂದಿಕ್ಕಲಾಗಿದೆ ಆಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಈ ಮೂಲಕ ಭಾರತವು ವಿಶ್ವದಲ್ಲೇ ಅತೀ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಚಿನ್ನ ಆಮದು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಎರಡನೇ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರವಾಗಿದೆ.

ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ನಿಯಮದನ್ವಯ ಶೇ.40ಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಅಂಗವೈಕಲ್ಯವಿದ್ದರೆ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ ಅರ್ಹತೆ ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಜೊತೆಗೆ, ಶೇ.75ಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಅಂಗವೈಕಲ್ಯವಿದ್ದವರಿಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಪ್ರಮಾಣದ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯಗಳು ಸಿಗುತ್ತವೆ. ಈ ನಿಯಮಗಳನ್ನೇ ಮಧ್ಯವರ್ತಿಗಳು ಅಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದು, ಕೆಲ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಗಳ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಇಲಾಖೆ ನೋಡಲ್ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ಸಹಕಾರದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಅಂಗವೈಕಲ್ಯ ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ದೃಢೀಕರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಹಣ ನೀಡುವಂತೆ ಬೇಡಿಕೆ ಇಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಹಣ ನೀಡದ ಅರ್ಜಿಗಳನ್ನು ವಿನಾ ಕಾರಣ ವಿಳಂಬವಾಗುವಂತೆ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಪಿಂಚಣಿ, ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಸಹಕಾರ, ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ಮೀಸಲು ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ನಾನಾ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯಬೇಕೆಂದರೆ ಯುನೀಕ್ ಡಿಸೆಬಿಲಿಟಿ ಐಡೆಂಟಿಟಿ ಕಾರ್ಡ್ ಪಡೆಯುವುದು ಕಡ್ಡಾಯ. ‌ ಈ ಸ್ಮಾರ್ಟ್ ಕಾರ್ಡ್ ನೆಪದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಧ್ಯವರ್ತಿಗಳು ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದು, ವಿಶೇಷಚೇತನ ರಿಂದ 5ರಿಂದ 10ಸಾವಿರ ರೂ. ಹಣಕ್ಕೆ ಬೇಡಿಕೆ ಇಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶೇಷಚೇತನರಿಗೆ ಯುಡಿಐಡಿ ಕಾರ್ಡ್, ಅಂಗವೈಕಲ್ಯದ ಪ್ರಮಾಣೀಕರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಅಕ್ರಮಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ನಿಗಾವಹಿಸುವಂತೆ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾವಾರು ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಸೂಚಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು. ದೂರುಗಳು ಬಂದರೆ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ಅಂಗವಿಕಲರ ಹಾಗೂ ಹಿರಿಯ ನಾಗರಿಕರ ಸಬಲೀಕರಣ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರಾದ ವಿ.ಮುನಿರಾಜು ಅವರು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ ಅಂತ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ರಾಜ್ಯಾದ್ಯಂತ ಸಲ್ಲಿಕೆಯಾಗಿರುವ 9,72,305 ಅರ್ಜಿ ಪೈಕಿ 3,82,822 ಮಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಕಾರ್ಡ್ ವಿತರಣೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದು, 33,161 ತಿರಸ್ಕೃತ ಅರ್ಜಿ ಹೊರತುಪಡಿಸಿ 6 ಲಕ್ಷ ಅರ್ಜಿಗಳು ನಾನಾ ಕಾರಣಗಳಿಗೆ ಬಾಕಿ ಉಳಿದಿವೆ. ರಾಜ್ಯಾದ್ಯಂತ ಇಂದಿಗೂ ಈ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯಿಲ್ಲದೆ ನರಳುತ್ತಿರುವ ವಿಶೇಷ ಚೇತನರು ಲಕ್ಷಾಂತರ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಚೈತ್ರ ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬದವರು ಮೂಲತಹ ತಮಿಳುನಾಡಿನವರು. ಕಳೆದ 30 ವರ್ಷದ ಹಿಂದೆ ಮೂಡಿಗೆರೆ ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ಮುದ್ರೆ ಮನೆಗೆ ಕೂಲಿಕೆಲಸಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಿದ್ದರು. ಕಳೆದ 22 ವರ್ಷದ ಹಿಂದೆ ಕೇರಳ ಮೂಲದ ಕೆಲವರು ಮುದ್ರೆಮನೆ ಬಳಿ ಮರಗೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಲು ಬಂದಿದ್ದರು. ಅವರು ಹಿಂದಿರುಗುವಾಗ ಬಾಲಕಿ ಅಂಜಲಿ ಹೆತ್ತವರಿಗೆ ( ಚೈತ್ರ ಮತ್ತು ಕಾಲಿ ಮುತ್ತು) ತಿಳಿಸದೆ ಕೇರಳದ ಕೂಲಿ ಕೆಲಸದವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ತೆರಳಿದ್ದಳು. ಪೋಷಕರು ಮಗಳ ಹುಡುಕಾಟ ನಡೆಸಿದರೂ ಯಾವುದೇ ಪ್ರಯೋಜನವಾಗಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ.

ಕೇರಳಕ್ಕೆ ತೆರಳಿದ್ದ ಬಾಲಕಿ ಅಂಜಲಿ ಕ್ಯಾಲಿಕೆಟ್ ಬಳಿಯ ಮುಖಂ ಎಂಬ ಗ್ರಾಮದ ಯುವಕನನ್ನು ಮದುವೆಯಾಗಿ ಸುಖಜೀವನ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಳು. ಈ ಕಡೆ ಹಲವು ವರ್ಷದ ಹಿಂದೆ ಅಂಜಲಿಯ ತಂದೆ ಕಾಲಿಮುತ್ತ ಸಾವನ್ನಪ್ಪಿದ್ದರು. ತಾಯಿ ಚೈತ್ರ ಮುದ್ರೆಮನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮಡಿಕೇರಿ ಸುತ್ತಮುತ್ತ ಎಸ್ಟೇಟ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂಲಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಜೀವನ ಕಳೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.

ಕೇರಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದ ಅಂಜಲಿ, ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಜಾಲತಾಣದ ಮೂಲಕ ತನ್ನ ಪೋಷಕರಿಂದ ದೂರವಾಗಿದ್ದ ಸಂಗತಿಯನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿದಳು. ಆ ಸಂಗತಿಯು ಮೂಡಿಗೆರೆಯ ಸಮಾಜ ಸೇವಕರಾದ ಫಿಶ್ ಮೋಣು, ದಾವುದ್ ಎಂಬುವರಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯಿತು. ಅಂಜಲಿ ಪೋಷಕರ ಫೋಟೋ ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಂಡು ಹುಡುಕಾಟ ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದರು. ಅಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ನಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಮಿತ್ರ ಮುಸ್ತಾಫ ಎಂಬುವರಿಗೆ ಈ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯನ್ನು ರವಾನಿಸಿದ್ದರು.

ಹುಡುಕಾಟ ನಡೆಸಿದಾಗ ಲೋಕವಳ್ಳಿ ರಮೇಶ್ ಎಂಬುವರು ಫೋಟೋ ನೋಡಿ ಈ ಮಹಿಳೆ ತನಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಮಾಹಿತಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಲೋಕವಳ್ಳಿ ಎಸ್ಟೇಟ್ ಒಂದರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಚೈತ್ರ ಅವರನ್ನು ಪತ್ತೆಹಚ್ಚುವಲ್ಲಿ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಇಷ್ಟಲ್ಲದೆ ಅಂಜಲಿಯ ಪತಿ ಮಣಿ ಕೂಡ ಸಮಾಜ ಸೇವಕನಾಗಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಮುಸ್ತಾಫ ಎಂಬುವವರಿಂದ ಸಂಪರ್ಕ ಪಡೆಯಲು ಅನುಕೂಲವಾಯಿತು. ವಿಷಯ ತಿಳಿಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದಂತೆ 22 ವರ್ಷದ ಹಿಂದೆ ಪೋಷಕರಿಂದ ದೂರವಾಗಿದ್ದ ಅಂಜಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಪತಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದೂರಿಗೆ ಆಗಮಿಸಿ ತನ್ನ ತಾಯಿ ಮಡಿಲು ಸೇರಿಸಿದ್ದಾಳೆ.
