ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ 15 ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಹೆದ್ದಾರಿ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರ ಸಮರ್ಪಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮತ್ತು 31 ಯೋಜನೆಗಳ ಶಂಕುಸ್ಥಾಪನೆ ನಡೆಯಿತು.

ಬೆಳಗಾವಿ, ಹುಬ್ಬಳ್ಳಿ ಮತ್ತು ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ರಸ್ತೆ ಸಾರಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಹೆದ್ದಾರಿಗಳ ಸಚಿವ ನಿತಿನ್ ಗಡ್ಕರಿ ಸಂಪರ್ಕ ಜಾಲಕ್ಕೆ ಶಕ್ತಿ ತುಂಬುವ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಿದರು.

ಕಾಮಗಾರಿ ಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಂಡ ಸಮರ್ಪಣೆಯಾದ 15 ಹೆದ್ದಾರಿ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನವು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು- ಮುಂಬೈ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಹೆದ್ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬರುತ್ತಿವೆ. ಕೆಲವು ಮಲೆನಾಡು ಮತ್ತು ಬಯಲುಸೀಮೆ, ಕರಾವಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿವೆ.

ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಸಿಎಂ ಬಸವರಾಜ ಬೊಮ್ಮಾಯಿ ಅವರು , ರಸ್ತೆಗಳು ಸಾರಿಗೆ ಸಂಪರ್ಕಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲದೆ, ಆರ್ಥಿಕ, ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಕೃಷಿ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಗೆ ಪೂರಕ ಎಂದರು.

ಪೂರ್ವ ಉಕ್ರೇನಿನ ಕಾರ್ಕಿವ್ ನಗರದ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂಜಿನಿಯರಿಂಗ್ ವ್ಯಾಸಂಗ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ರಿಷಬ್ , ಈಗ ಬಿಕ್ಕಟ್ಟಿನ ನಡುವೆಯೂ ತನ್ನ ಮುದ್ದಿನ ನಾಯಿಯನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟಿರಲು ನಿರಾಕರಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಭಾರತಕ್ಕೆ ನಾನು ವಾಪಸ್ ಆಗುವುದಾದರೆ ಮುದ್ದಿನ ನಾಯಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಆಗುತ್ತೇನೆ. ವಿಮಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಯಿಗೆ ಅವಕಾಶ ಇಲ್ಲ ಎನ್ನುವುದಾದರೆ ಜೀವ ಅಪಾಯದ ನಡುವೆಯೂ ನಾನು ಇಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಉಳಿಯುತ್ತೇನೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

ವಾಣಿಜ್ಯ ಸಚಿವಾಲಯದ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ಭಾರತಕ್ಕೆ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ 25 ಲಕ್ಷ ಟನ್ ಸೂರ್ಯಕಾಂತಿ ಎಣ್ಣೆ ಬೇಕಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಆದರೆ, 50 ಸಾವಿರ ಟನ್ ಮಾತ್ರವೇ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಉತ್ಪಾದನೆ ಆಗುವುದರಿಂದ ಉಳಿದ ಬೇಡಿಕೆ ಪೂರೈಸಲು ಆಮದು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.
