ರಾಜ್ಯಾದ್ಯಂತ ಸೋಮವಾರದಿಂದ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರು, ಮುಂಚೂಣಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರು ಹಾಗೂ ತೀವ್ರ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ಇರುವ ಹಿರಿಯ ನಾಗರಿಕರಿಗೆ ಮುನ್ನೆಚ್ಚರಿಕೆ (ಬೂಸ್ಟರ್) ಡೋಸ್ ಲಸಿಕೆ ನೀಡುವ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆ ಆರಂಭಗೊಂಡಿದೆ.
21 ಲಕ್ಷ ಜನರು ಮುನ್ನೆಚ್ಚರಿಕೆ ಡೋಸ್ ಪಡೆಯನ್ನು ಅರ್ಹರಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಮೊದಲ ದಿನ ಒಟ್ಟು 68,644 ಜನರಿಗೆ 3ನೇ ಡೋಸ್ ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು.
ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಲಸಿಕೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಶೇ.99ರಷ್ಟು ಯಶಸ್ವಿಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಜ.31ರೊಳಗೆ ಶೇ.100ರಷ್ಟು ಸರಿ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುವುದು. ಶೇ.77ರಷ್ಟು ಎರಡನೇ ಡೋಸ್ ಆಗಿದ್ದು, ಜನವರಿ ಅಂತ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಶೇ.80 ಸಾಧಿಸುವ ಗುರಿ ಇದ್ದು ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಎರಡನೇ ಡೋಸ್ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಲು ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗುವುದು.
ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತ ಚಕ್ರದೊಳಗೆ ತರಬೇಕೆನ್ನುವ ಸರಕಾರದ ಗುರಿಯನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದು ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ಅಭಿಯಾನದ ಮೊದಲ ದಿನ 47,513 ಜನ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರು, 11,109 ಕೋವಿಡ್ ಮುಂಚೂಣಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರು ಹಾಗೂ 10,022 ಮಂದಿ 60 ವರ್ಷ ಮೇಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಹಿರಿಯ ನಾಗರಿಕರು ಲಸಿಕೆ ಪಡೆದರು.
ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಬಸವರಾಜ ಬೊಮ್ಮಾಯಿ ಅವರು ನಗರದ ಅಟಲ್ ಬಿಹಾರಿ ವಾಜಪೇಯಿ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಮಹಾವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಶೋಧನಾ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ಆವರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಚಾಲನೆ ನೀಡಿದರು. ಕರ್ನಾಟಕವನ್ನು ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತಾ ಚಕ್ರದೊಳಗೆ ತರುವುದೇ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಗುರಿ ಎಂದು ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
