ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಟ್ಟು 14,27,195 ಕರೆ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಜಮೀನು ಒತ್ತುವರಿಯಾಗಿದೆ ಒತ್ತುವರಿ ತೆರವುಗೊಳಿಸಲು ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮಿತಿಯೊಂದನ್ನು ರಚಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
