ಪ್ರೊ ಕಬಡ್ಡಿ ಲೀಗ್ ಎಂಟನೇ ಆವೃತ್ತಿಯ ಫೈನಲ್ ಪಂದ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಟ್ನಾ ಪೈರೇಟ್ಸ್ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ದಬಾಂಗ್ ದಿಲ್ಲಿ ತಂಡವು ರೋಚಕ ಗೆಲುವು ಸಾಧಿಸಿದೆ.

ವೈಟ್ ಫೀಲ್ಡ್ ನ ಶೆರಟಾನ್ ಗ್ರಾಂಡ್ ಹೋಟೆಲ್ ಸಭಾಂಗಣದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಪಂದ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ದಿಲ್ಲಿ ಆಟಗಾರರು 37 36 ಅಂಕಗಳ ಅಂತರದಿಂದ ಮೂರು ಬಾರಿ ಚಾಂಪಿಯನ್ ಪಾಟ್ನಾ ಪೈರೇಟ್ಸ್ ತಂಡದ ಸವಾಲು ಮೆಟ್ಟಿನಿಂತು ಟ್ರೋಫಿಯನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮದಾಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಲೀಗ್ ಆರಂಭದಿಂದ ಕೊನೆಯವರೆಗೂ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಫೇವರೆಟ್ ತಂಡವಾಗಿ ಗುರುತಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ಕನ್ನಡಿಗ ಪ್ರಶಾಂತ್ ನೇತೃತ್ವದ ಪಾಟ್ನಾ ಪೈರೇಟ್ಸ್ ಅಂತಿಮ ಹಂತದ ಒತ್ತಡ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಎಡವಿದ ಕಾರಣ ರನ್ನರ್ ಅಪ್ ಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆ ತೃಪ್ತಿಪಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡಿದೆ.
ಪಂದ್ಯದ ಆರಂಭದಿಂದಲೂ ಎರಡು ತಂಡಗಳು ಜಿದ್ದಾಜಿದ್ದಿನ ಹೋರಾಟ ನಡೆಸಿದವು. ಆದರೆ ಹತ್ತು ನಿಮಿಷದಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ತಂಡವನ್ನು ಆಲೌಟ್ ಮಾಡಿದ ಪೈರೇಟ್ಸ್ ತಂಡ 12-8ರ ಮುನ್ನಡೆ ಕಾಯ್ದುಕೊಂಡಿತ್ತು.
ಸಚಿನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರ ಚುರುಕಿನ ಆಟದ ಸಹಾಯದಿಂದ ಮೊದಲಾದ ವಿರಾಮದವರೆಗೂ ಪಾಟ್ನಾ ತಂಡ ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಬಲ್ಯ ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸಿ ಅಂತಿಮವಾಗಿ 17-15ರ ಮೇಲುಗೈ ಸಾಧಿಸಿತು.
ಪಂದ್ಯದ ದ್ವಿತೀಯಾರ್ಧ ಆರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಟ್ನಾ 24 -23ರ ಅಂತರ ಕಾಯ್ದುಕೊಂಡಿತ್ತು. ಆದರೆ ಮೂವತ್ತನೇ ನಿಮಿಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಲ್-ರೌಂಡರ್ ವಿಜಯ್ ಸೂಪರ್ ಹಿಟ್ ಮೂಲಕ 3 ಅಂಕ ಗಳಿಸಿ ತಂಡದ ಹಿನ್ನಡೆಯನ್ನು 23-24ಕ್ಕೆ ತಗ್ಗಿಸಿದರು. ಬಳಿಕ ರೀಡರ್ ನವೀನ್ 1ಅಂಕ ತಂದು 24-24 ರ ಸಮಬಲದ ಹೋರಾಟಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾಯಿತು.
ಪಂದ್ಯದ ಮುಕ್ತಾಯಕ್ಕೆ 5 ನಿಮಿಷಗಳಿರುವಾಗ ಪಾಟ್ನಾ ಪೈರೇಟ್ಸ್ ತಂಡವನ್ನು ಅಂಗಣ ಖಾಲಿ ಮಾಡಿಸಿದ ದಿಲ್ಲಿ 30-28ರ ಮೇಲುಗೈ ಸಾಧಿಸಿ ಕೊನೆಯವರೆಗೂ ಪ್ರಭುತ್ವ ಸಾಧಿಸಿ ಗೆಲುವನ್ನು ತನ್ನದಾಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿತು.
