ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದೇ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ 150ಕ್ಕೂ ಅಧಿಕ ಓಮಿಕ್ರಾನ್ ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳು ಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಮಣಿಪುರ ಹಾಗೂ ಗೋವಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೊದಲ ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳು ದಾಖಲಾಗಿವೆ.
ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಟ್ಟು ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ 600ರ ಹತ್ತಿರಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಿದೆ.
ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸಚಿವಾಲಯವು ನೀಡಿದ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, 156 ಜನರಲ್ಲಿ ಸೋಂಕು ಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಒಟ್ಟು ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ 578ಕ್ಕೆ ತಲುಪಿದೆ. ಈ ಪೈಕಿ 151 ಜನರು ಗುಣಮುಖರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಸಚಿವಾಲಯ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದೆ.
ಮುಂಬೈನಲ್ಲಿ 11, ಮಹಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ 26, ಹರಿಯಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ 2, ಉತ್ತರ ಖಂಡದಲ್ಲಿ 3, ಗುಜರಾತಿನಲ್ಲಿ 24 ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳು ವರದಿಯಾಗಿವೆ. ತಾಂಜಾನೀಯದಿಂದ ಮಣಿಪುರಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಿದ್ದ 48 ವರ್ಷದ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸೋಂಕು ದೃಡಪಟ್ಟಿದೆ. ಇದು ಈಶಾನ್ಯ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ದಾಖಲಾದ ಮೊದಲ ಓಮಿಕ್ರಾನ್ ಪ್ರಕರಣವಾಗಿದೆ. ಬ್ರಿಟನ್ ನಿಂದ ಗೋವಾದ ಪಣಜಿಗೆ ಬಂದಾ 8ವರ್ಷದ ಬಾಲಕನಲ್ಲಿ ಓಮಿಕ್ರಾನ್ ವೈರಸ್ ಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗಿದೆ.
19 ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಕೇಂದ್ರಾಡಳಿತ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸೋಂಕು ಕಂಡು ಬಂದಿದೆ. ಇದುವರೆಗೂ ದೆಹಲಿಯಲ್ಲಿ 142 ಅತಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳು ವರದಿಯಾಗಿವೆ. ಮಹಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರ ಎರಡನೇ ಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ಇಲ್ಲಿ 141 ಸೋಂಕಿತರು ದೃಢಪಟ್ಟಿದೆ. ಕೇರಳದಲ್ಲಿ 57, ಗುಜರಾತಿನಲ್ಲಿ 59, ತೆಲಂಗಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ 41 ಜನರಿಗೆ ಓಮಿಕ್ರಾನ್ ವೈರಸ್ ಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗಿದೆ.
ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ನೆರೆಯ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳಾದ ಕೇರಳದಲ್ಲಿ 1,824, ಹಾಗೂ ಮಹಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ 1,648 ಕೊರೋನಾ ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳು ದೃಢಪಟ್ಟಿವೆ. ಈ ಎರಡು ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅತಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳು ವರದಿಯಾಗುತ್ತಿವೆ ಎಂಬುದು ತಿಳಿದುಬಂದಿದೆ.
